Also known as the Dorian mode, the Pygmy scale is related to the pentatonic minor, but has the 6th note included (the low A, in this case). This creates an open, mystical atmosphere reminiscent of a crystal palace. Try playing this one with your fingers and dive into a magical world!

All Happy drums include mallets and a padded carrying case.

Tones from these instruments are created through the vibrating tongue of steel. When a tongue is quickly and lightly struck with the finger or mallet, it vibrates, creating sound waves.

Happy steel tongue drum boast long sustain and beautiful harmonies. They have a similar feel to handpans and other mystical instruments. They are made from heavy gauge steel.  Play using the rubber mallets provided, or try using your fingers for a totally different style! Each also comes in its own protective carry bag with adjustable strap.
